Angus Open Studios (AOS) is an association of artists, craftsmen and designer-makers in and around Angus, Scotland. Our showcase event 'Angus Open Studios' takes place each year in May, when our members open their studios to the public. This is an exciting venture designed to raise the profile of our extremely talented artists, craftsmen and designer-makers, and place Angus art more clearly on the map of Scotland.

Our Open Studios event is a great opportunity to visit artists in their studios.
- Meet and speak to the makers of a wide variety of art work and find out about their methods and sources of inspiration.
- Gain a unique insight into the workspaces used by artists and an appreciation of what goes into the production of the work.
- Make direct contact with artists and craftsmen - even commission artwork for a special occasion.
- Explore the towns, villages and countryside of Angus and see it through the eyes of our artists who find it so inspiring.

AOS recently presented a worthy prize to Ruth Niven. All Final year Graphic Design Students at Duncan of Jordanstone competed to design our new AOS 2015 Directory and publicity materials. Ruth's design won after a members' vote and will soon be full of our 59 members' information. Ruth's design is based around our members opening their studio doors to visitors. We hope you like it. We do!
